Two well-stocked stillwaters on the northern edge of Newcastle, managed by the Tyne Anglers Alliance. The large lake in particular has strong natural recruitment of roach alongside carp, bream, tench, perch, crucians, rudd and pike. Wheelchair access runs along the full southern bank of the larger lake.

Northumberland coarse fishery near Hexham (NE47), listed among popular North East stillwaters.

City-centre mixed fishery of around 2 acres in Leazes Park, Newcastle upon Tyne, managed by Leazes Park Angling Association (LPAA). Stocks include roach, rudd, perch, tench, bream, gudgeon, crucian carp, mirror carp and common carp. LPAA is affiliated to the Tyne Anglers Alliance, so members also gain access to shared TAA waters.

Purpose-built 3.5 acre specimen lake at Carlton Village, Stockton-on-Tees — “Where Legends are Caught and Made”. Around 12 named pegs (11 bookable at once; The Rush offers pitches A or B). Double pegs for two anglers: Corn Crake (2), The Rush (4) and Stowaway (5). Stock includes double-figure carp to around 32lb and wels catfish to around 47lb. Day/night sessions are booked online by peg; CCTV car park, toilets and on-site bait shop.
