Easington District Angling Society’s club lake on Moor Lane, Wingate. About 3.5 acres of water in an 8-acre site, with around 30 pegs including disabled spots near the car park. Mixed stock of carp, bream, tench, perch, roach, rudd, crucian, gudgeon and ide. Members only — no day tickets.

Three well-maintained coarse reservoirs on the Military Road (B6318) near Harlow Hill. Excellent roach, perch and skimmer fishing in rolling Northumberland countryside.

Award-winning commercial complex at Carlton Miniott near Thirsk — often called Woodlands by Teesside and North Yorkshire anglers. Around 11–13 landscaped lakes across ~45 acres with 300+ pegs, tackle shop, café and on-site bar/restaurant. Day ticket and night fishing (Kingfisher / Catfish lakes). Dogs on leads welcome.
