Overview

Hetton Lyons Angling Club match lake based in Hetton-le-Hole. Day tickets available and yearly memberships. (Memberships are currently closed for 2026) (Back open end of Feb 2027) No night fishing allowed here. Carp (Mirror/Common), Tench, Skimmers/Bream, Crucian, Perch, Roach, Rudd and Eel. Fishing from 8am to dusk.

Day Ticket Changes

Due to recent events by juniors the day tickets have changed slightly. Juniors under the age of 16 (now free but MUST be with an adult 18+ present at ALL times) to fish here unless they show confidence that they will not cause the club any problems and then potentially become a member. This is due to recent safety concerns around Stephensons Lake. Any questions please contact the club via our website.

Stephensons lake will be closed AM to all anglers so we can prepare for the aeration system to be installed on SUN 9th AUG.
